The Selection Camp and Training sessions took place late 2005 and through to 2006 before the Jamborette itself in July.
A web site was created for the Ayrsshire contingent and has all the pictures of the various camps and a selection of Pictures from Blair Atholl specifically of the Ayrshire Contingent. There is also a link to the official Blair Atholl Site.
Ayrshire Contingent to Blair Atholl 2006
April saw the Area run the selection week-end for the Ayrshire contingent to the World Jamboree in 2007.

The 20 Ayrshire Scouts and Explorer Scouts who will attend the 2007 World Jamboree are now selected and have ahd their first week-end with the other members of the Units at the first camp at Avondyke, in Lanarkshire. The picture below is of 17 of the 20 Ayrshire contingent.
The District ran a Scout Camp at Culzean recently.
140 Cub Scouts from all over the District took party in a fun activity day at Culzean on Sunday 24th with lots of great bases for the youngsters to take part in.
Despite the weather, they all enjoyed the shortned day, due to the weather. Defiately a case of MUD, MUD, Glorious MUD - until they got home.

150 Beaver Scouts from all over the District took party in a fun activity day at Culzean on Saturday 23rd with lots of great bases for the youngsters to take part in.

Ayrshire East recently held their 90th Birthday Party for Cub Scouts in Kilmarnock Academy. The youngstesr were split into 4 groups with various activities in the various games hall of the complex.The evening ended with the cutting of the Birthday Cake and a short camp fire.
